Changing times The world has always been changing at all times - constantly. But since 2020, it has been changing at an extreme speed and the things that used to be fixed points of reference are increasingly dissolving. It is like sailing out of a familiar harbour into the open sea of life. We are experiencing an 8-fold acceleration of things and it feels like a flight in a jet plane.
Many people who accompanied me for a long time have disappeared from my life in recent years. At first I felt unhappiness and sadness, then somehow liberation and space for something new. The door was always wide open, even if few people came in, because it is not always easy to get beyond small talk.
I realised that my life no longer offers so much time for meaningless encounters. So I avoid them, trusting that I will encounter the things that will bring me further in my development and that I will encounter the things that I can bring further with my being.
The examination of spirituality has accompanied me for several decades. Therefore, I am grateful for this, my inner calm pole, independent of the noise of the waves around me. My inner map shows orientation on the winding path of my soul. I follow it whenever I can.
ARTISTIC THINGS I DO
I am a very digital person, although I also like to work as a craftsman in my workshop with wood, steel, stone, concrete, plastic, paper and fabric, making things that are more physical. I use traditional but also new digital techniques.
To cut a long story short - I like to build things from my own imagination with old and new tools and always without fear or reservations but rather with curiosity and joy for new possibilities. The tool itself is not important to me - camera, Photoshop, 3D printer, CNC milling machine, laser or hacksaw and forge fire - I use the tools with which I can express my ideas.
In the current dawn of the air age, I am increasingly experimenting with new AI technologies and tools to explore their benefits for my life and creative process. The interconnectedness of all these things is what makes me a mensh. I see things not as separate but as integrated, mutually supportive and capable of enabling my own artistic process.
THE IDEA
Therefore I decided to show some of the things I do as an experimenting designer on a website with the aim to meet new people who are interested in an exchange of creativity or experience, whom I can help or who want to buy things from my creative work in one form or another and integrate them into their field of life.
But maybe my work enriches you just by looking at it, then I am of course happy about that and even more if you just write me where it has brought you.
As a designer, I am of course also happy to receive order enquiries of all kinds. Since my fields of work are not so easy to define, it is certainly worthwhile to send me an enquiry if you have the feeling that I could provide the right ideas and solutions for your company, your living space or your campaign.
